QuoteGuard helps ServiceM8 businesses review a quote before sending it. It compares estimated materials and labour with similar completed jobs in the business’s own records, highlighting potential cost gaps, labour allowances to review, and possible missing items.
The report shows the jobs behind each comparison. Jobs involving extra work or a different scope can be excluded from the analysis while the original collected records are retained. Checks depend on the completeness and accuracy of recorded materials, costs and time. Suggestions are prompts to review a quote, not confirmed omissions or guaranteed savings.
QuoteGuard is in early beta. The working version has been tested with synthetic jobs; its usefulness and accuracy on real business data are still being evaluated. The gallery image shows a synthetic example, not a customer result.
We are seeking three businesses that use ServiceM8 and regularly record materials and job time. Any trade is welcome. Beta participants receive free access during the beta and direct setup help in exchange for trying it on a few quotes and sharing honest feedback. A demo is available before connecting an account, and data access and storage will be explained before onboarding.
